This album is an intimately personal and sincere endeavour, providing a poignant backdrop to the narrative presented in the book "Christmas in Hell", authored by my father. A homage to my grandfather, who ventured far from home to confront the senseless brutality of war, bearing witness to the folly of rulers.The book unfolds a tale of human sacrifices, the atrocities of war, and the absurdity of conflict.

"Fear Of A Place With No Sound" stands as a dedication to the memory of that valiant soul and to all those who have endured the chaos of war. It serves as an ode to the resilience of the human spirit, encapsulated within a world of sound.

As you immerse yourself in this album, allow it to lead you through the echoes of history, the whispers of emotions, and the promises of the future. It is a journey that spans the past, the present, and the boundless possibilities of what lies ahead.

"Fear Of A Place With No Sound” delves into my early recordings, crafted with a minimal setup and mostly captured in a single take. A collection of soundscapes frozen in time, aiming for an immersive encounter, embracing minimal post-production to preserve the rawness of expression. Within its austere framework, shadows of darkness and threads of sorrow intertwine, occasionally giving rise to fleeting melodies. While this album gravitates toward a more "song-oriented" trajectory, the path forward holds promises of longer and more experimental forays into the sonic unknown.
